The Rake x Reader Chapter 6

    The Rake took a sharp turn to the left and you both popped out of the woods in a small clearing with a large wooden mansion-like building. It looked like it had been the since the 1800's. You remember the handcuffs still locking your hands in place as he carried you into the building. The inside was really no different than outside. It was dark and cold and not the most comforting place.
    He sets you on a nearby wooden chair and picks the lock on the cuffs. You rub your wrists "uh... thanks," you giggle "I don't know what I would do without you,". A light red color appeared on his cheeks "uh, yeah, you're welcome," you thought about how he must not have experienced a moment like this. He stands on his back legs, looking like a normal human, minus the fact that he was fairly tall, skinny, and his skin was grey. When he stood he was at least a foot taller than you.
    He crossed his arms "either way, I told you to be careful who you speak with. I told you that for a reason!" Rake scolded. You sink into your chair. "I'm sorry," you mumble.  "I do understand that they were your parents though... I suppose I should have told you not to return to your home," he seemed disappointed in himself again "I guess that means I should be sorry,".
    You stand from the chair and hug him, a bright red blush on your cheeks. "GET DOWN YOU UGLY CREATURE!" You release Rake and look to the door only to find two police officers aiming their guns at both you and him. He gets down on all fours in some kind of attack position and almost immediately he gets shit in the arm above his elbow. He screeches in pain, like a Banshee. You fall onto your knees next to him. You yank off your jacket and apply pressure to the wound "please! Stop!" You shout with tears in your eyes. He gets shot again in the chest "don't do this!" You scream.
    Rake pulls himself up with shaking arms and wipes blood from his mouth "it isn't that easy..." he coughs.
